Born and raised in Charlottesville, Ann Hay grew up in the real estate industry, working alongside her family in their longtime brokerage. She attended St. Anne’s-Belfield School and earned a BFA in Film from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her career began in fashion and television, with time spent in London and Los Angeles before returning to Virginia in 2007 to join the family firm.
Under her leadership, the company became affiliated with Sotheby’s International Realty in 2015, and has remained Charlottesville’s premier luxury brokerage ever since. Her background in the arts—and life across major creative cities—gives Ann Hay a distinct global perspective and refined eye that set her apart in today’s market.
