Jose's story began in a small one-bedroom home in rural Hidalgo, Mexico. His grandfather built it by hand, making each concrete block himself using wooden molds and mixing cement and rock one block at a time. That home became the sanctuary where Jose was raised by his mother, whose extraordinary work ethic would become one of the greatest influences on his life.

Although they had very little, she taught him that circumstances never define a person's future; character does. Her example of hard work, faith, honesty, gratitude and kindness became the foundation of Jose's life and continues to shape the way he serves his clients today.

At sixteen, while most teenagers were thinking about the future, Jose was already transforming his family's home. He added living space, cleared rocks and dirt to create a garden, and discovered a passion for seeing possibility where others might not. That instinct would shape his life.

Jose went on to earn a degree in International Marketing and build more than two decades of experience across design, renovation, real estate investing, art and education. His work in education included training through the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston's Learning Through Art program, further developing his appreciation for art and the way people experience spaces. He served a two-year religious mission, traveled extensively and experienced cultures, architecture and design around the world. He later chaired the Design Committee for a Main Street America program and restored a historic 1945 commercial building, a project recognized with the Florida Secretary of State's Economic Vitality Award.

Those experiences eventually became the foundation of his registered Real Estate Artist® brand, a philosophy that brings together creativity, strategy, presentation and a genuine understanding of people.
