About Ruthie Ravenel

Charleston, South Carolina

Ruthie is a native Charlestonian, having spent her youth at her family home downtown. She earned a BS in History & International Studies at Boston College, after which time she worked & lived in the mountain west. After traveling extensively & living in Boston MA, Park City UT, & Strasbourg France; Ruthie chose to move back to Charleston to pursue a career in luxury real estate. Since then Ruthie has developed her marketing skills & sales acumen, and now serves as VP of Sales & Marketing. Her passion for real estate sales in the context of the Sotheby's International Realty brand is something she shares with all agents at the firm through her leadership in sales, property promotion & pricing, content marketing, & use of technology.

As a top producer in the firm, Ruthie prides herself on exceptional customer service & curating personalized experiences for clients throughout the area. She has received REALTOR® of Distinction award from 2015-2019 & continues to serve buyers and sellers on a daily basis. Her activities in the community are varied & include leadership roles at the Historic Charleston Foundation, Historic Rotary Club of Charleston, & Red Carpet Charleston. In her spare time, Ruthie enjoys traveling, snow-skiing, & spending time with her husband Chris & two small children Ethan & Teddy.
