“My commitment to my friends, family, and non-profit organizations, especially through the theater and public-private partnerships, is paramount to my sense of being a responsible and grateful citizen and a proud contributing member of the community.”
Stan’s New York City is a place of equity, opportunity, and resilience. "I first came to New York City in 1989 to attend NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and when I moved into my dormitory on Fifth Avenue and Tenth Street I knew immediately that I was home! During my college years, I had the opportunity to explore the museums, restaurants, and performing arts in a way that took my breath away having grown up in a small town south of Boston. Looking back over this thirty-year love affair with the "city that never sleeps" I have seen my life intertwine with the life of the city; through challenging times and the best of times. One thing I know for sure is that there is no other place in the world where a diversity of ideas, interests, industries, arts, and a mutual understanding and respect of our fellow New Yorkers can co-exist and thrive together."
