Penny MacIntyre
Bermuda
A business trip brought this New York City and Yankees fan to Bermuda in 2006 and set the tides in motion for her commitment to a new “island”. Penny MacIntyre joined Rego Sotheby's International Realty as a sales and leasing agent, promoted to manager of the commercial practice including hotel/tourism and became partner overseeing operations, human resources and business development. Private individuals to Fortune 100 clients seek Penny’s expertise in buyer and tenant representation and deal structure analysis including her notable history executing strategic negotiations for headquarters, data centers and aircraft hangars.
Awarded year-over-year as Best of Bermuda, Rego Sotheby’s International Realty’s commercial team conducts over 90% of the island’s hotel/tourism sales with Penny serving as an exclusive agent to the island’s newest and notable sales and rental luxury properties: Rosewood Tucker’s Point Hotel and Resort, The Loren Hotel at Pink Beach, St. Regis Bermuda, Hamilton Princess Beach Club and Waterloo House.
Despite island living, she can’t swim but Penny contributes time on land to the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club (RHADC) as a Committee of Management Member and on Board of Directors for Bermuda Wellness Foundation.
Her prior notable transactions include Honorable New York City Mayor Bloomberg's campaign offices, Republican National Convention and United States Secret Service. Recognized as The Bermudian's Best of Bermuda Awards Most Diligent Real Estate Agent and CORENET New York Chapter Emerging Leader.
Once a journalist, always a journalist – Penny served on-air and in print for Dow Jones / Wall Street Journal and CNN conducting stakeouts at the UN Security Council.
If she had more time, she’d boat, fly fish, play guitar, piano and sing… albeit all unprofessionally at least to her 4 pets!
