Winston is Senior Vice President Sales with Sotheby's Vancouver Westside where he enjoys limitless global opportunities through this well-respected brand and has received consistent recognition for attaining gross volumes at the highest levels. Winston serves a variety of clients ranging from first-time homebuyers, parents looking for university accommodation for their children, retirees downsizing, private wealthy individuals with trophy global properties, and everything in between. He started his real estate career 14 years ago focused on land analysis and assembly. Through incredible mentorship by industry veterans Winston humbly learned from the best and soon celebrated various successes along Vancouver's "Cambie Corridor" where he moved over $250M worth of inventory. Winston continued to hone in his skills in resale and project sales and in 2015 joined Alabaster Homes, which he fondly refers to as his "second home." Together with his team, he has moved over $300M worth of ground-oriented homes. He continues to learn from industry greats and pays it forward by mentoring others whenever possible. As an entrepreneur, Winston pivots and adapts to the various scenarios that define each relationship. He analyzes the market relative to his clients' needs and offers meaningful, client-centered perspectives. Winston enjoys exploring the various neighborhoods in and around the city and believes in community engagement. Raising three daughters in Vancouver has given him extensive knowledge and ties to the school and his local church communities and its activities, neighborhood nuances, and city trivia that he will happily share in a cozy owner-operated corner cafe or over happy hour and tapas.
Vancouver has been home to Winston for over 25 years and his passion for Vancouver's local charm sets him apart as a unique resource with fresh and current perspective. His Filipino Chinese origins have given him good command of Tagalog, English, and 4 dialects of Chinese; namely, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Taishanese, which immediately breaks cultural barriers. Moreso, he understands the nuance of different acceptable business practices and pays keen attention to cultural beliefs and traditions, careful to always respect boundaries. Winston operates with integrity and patience which has afforded him the trust of his clients. He has served clients from all continents except for Antarctica (...for now).
