Leaving the suburbs to return to the city, they were prepared to sacrifice space. But what they found was a home that was delightfully spacious both inside and out. An upper duplex, it has almost 2,000 square feet, an enormous back yard and Fresh Pond is essentially in their front yard. Whether taking in the view or enjoying their morning walk, the pond was an integral part of every day. Thoroughly renovated in '02, it has a large kitchen and breakfast area surrounded on three sides by windows and overlooking the yard; a pretty living room with a fireplace; and a top floor suite with a skylit bedroom, a full bathroom and an office looking out over the pond. Strawberry Hill turned out to be the best surprise. A true neighborhood, it offers easy access to Huron Village and Harvard Square, Star Market and Sofra, the new Glacken Field and Playground and the Fresh Pond golf course. Now that it is time to be closer to family, they hope the next owners will enjoy the space and physical beauty at 608 Huron Ave as much as they have!
