When they walked into the second floor of 94 Amory Street, the memory of visiting more than 70 open houses and bidding without success quietly faded away. The open layout and efficient use of space made it feel so much bigger than its actual square footage would suggest. And, with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a newer kitchen, private outdoor space, in-unit laundry, basement storage and garage parking it “checked all the boxes”. Being walking distance from Harvard, Inman, Central and Kendall Squares allowed them to easily live the lifestyle they wanted and to commute easily to work. Over time, they fell in love with the strong sense of community in the neighborhood, with Paine Park serving as a meeting place for kids, adults and dogs alike. And, when they had children of their own, the park became their backyard, where their little guys made their first friends. They will miss this place but know they are passing along a great opportunity for someone new to discover and relish in as they have.
